freckles and constellations
sometimes i feel like i could live a thousand different lives inside my head while simultaneously not doing anything with the one life i have. i’ve had 4 years worth of setbacks but i finally feel like i'm ready to full throttle mold my life into the life i want to live. it is because of this that i am going to go through the professions id like to pursue!
starting off hot with my favorite career
- a lonely historian
(i love scrolls) ever since i read elizabeth kostova’s novel the historian i’ve been obsessed with dark academia and historians ever since
•a traveling writer/ poet
i consider myself a writer because of how much i write but to ever become a professional writer who’s published would be a dream. but alas, dreams are just dreams… doesn’t mean i wont try though!
• a famously arcane diarist
my journals are creative that talk about some really raw material. anais nin, sylvia plath, virginia woolf, the big gun diarists. could i ever be as interesting as them?
•a known orchestral musician
i play guitar, violin and some piano but i only recently got a violin last month (october 2024) for my 21st birthday so im really honing in on learning the basics. first song in order is gonna be eleanor rigby by the beatles
- a good mother and house wife
this is simple but so rewarding. love is a lifestyle and a life spent with a good lover and beautiful children is a life perfectly spent.
- farmer/animal rescuer
it’s been my dream since i was a young child to rescue animals of every kind giving them a safe place to be themself and to comfort them. with a farm i could not only rescue animals but make money to keep them safe through the harmless and healthy collection of their excesses.
and last but not least!!
•the village witch/herbalist
i could only imagine having my own victorian cottage in the woods with where i can forage herbs and plants and make products from them like honey, salves, potions and tinctures, with a vintage vardo outside where folks come to get their fortune read. i dream to become a proper herbalist but to mix witchcraft into it earning some mastery to eventually sell my services.
it’s a wonderful life
but unfortunately you can’t do it all. for now i will continue to study history, herbalism, and witchcraft gaining more knowledge and skill in several different areas simultaneously. today i am a perfumist. today i am a writer. today i will just be jane. who do you want to be? if you have any interesting dream careers comment below!!
